Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The same year, She released Her first album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was a big hit and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director of popular television series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
