Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress, was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her performance in that limited part was so captivating that the agent who cast the show wanted to cast her in the major role in the series. Though she was able to audition for the role, she wasn't chosen. The role was instead set in the show in the role of Cassie Turner, a young disturbed girl within foster homes. The role she played was greatly loved by both the viewers and viewers on the program.
