Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul singer actor and songwriter. The singer has received many awards, including an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Day is a ferocious singer and artful songwriter who isn't merely a throwback R&B specialist. Her roots are in gospel jazz as well as the blues she performs with grace and finesse are passed on to the present. With her debut, Cheers to The Fall (2015) she climbed in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and earned a few Grammy nominations. In 2017 her performance on Marshall's soundtrack was also recognized by an Academy Award. Born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day, she grew up within San Diego and its metropolitan region where she sang in churches and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She switched her attention towards contemporary R&B and pop when she graduated and was later drawn back towards the jazz and soul singers that she listened to in her youth. It featured the track Rise Up which has become an international anthem of social justice movements. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. She dropped The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, an album that explores the career and life of jazz legend Billie Holiday. In the same year, she appeared in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), a biopic of Holiday's career. Andi Matichak is a famous American actor. She made her debut in the movie Halloween as Allyson, after appearing in numerous television shows like Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black) Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods and Orange Is the New Black. Andi matichak is an American actor born in Framingham on 3rd May 1994.
