Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese heritage and was born during the war in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was 2 years old when she was divorced from her parents. She is now raised by her stepfather and mom. He's an United States Air Force soldier. They left Oklahoma and lived in several places, but she lived the majority of her time in Tokyo. The actress was a part of local stage productions in this time as well as becoming a models for the Japanese industry. Olivia has moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actor was determined to pursue this goal when the family moved back to the United States. After a few small parts in her professional career, she took a very promising turn when she landed the role as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D," the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. Her passion for surfing is something she's continued after the TV series Beyond the Break. She also has black belts in Taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was just two years old, to an Air Force officer. Though the family relocating many times throughout her life, she was born at Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather was stationed by the military. Attending at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors in Japanese and drama art.
